Event Photo + Video
A lot of time, money, and planning goes into hosting a successful event. From open houses, happy hours, golf outings, and galas, it’s always a good idea to document the event with professional photos and videos.
Why document your event?
Imagine this- you and your team have worked for months planning your big year-end fundraising event. The big day is finally here and everyone is busy making sure the party goes off without a hitch. You tell yourself you’ll snap a few iPhone photos to share on social media and it’ll look great. Before you know it, it’s 10pm and you have 2 blurry photos saved- what happened??
Hiring a professional may seem like a bit much, after all, everyone coming to your event has a phone that takes really great photos. But, hiring a professional who can focus on capturing all the best moments so that you, your team, and your guests can enjoy the event is always the right call. And, those nice photos and videos can be used for a lot more than just posting on social media. You can also use event photos and videos to promote future events, include them in a thank you email to attendees, show off the event on your website, or simply document the event and who was there.

The 2022 Snowflake Gala
I worked with the Knox County Food for the Hungry to take photos of their annual Snowflake Gala- a fundraising event that raises a lot of money for the community. This video was a great way to thank sponsors, attendees, and can be used to market for next years event. Check out the photos and read more about the project here.
Together Digital National Conference
I documented the Together Digital national conference in Columbus, Ohio in 2019. I took photos and created this video highlighting the event. You can read more about the project and view the photos here.
REALM Collaborative Open House
Columbus-based landscape architecture company, REALM Collaborative, hosted an open house to celebrate their 5-year anniversary. They wanted some photos to capture the event and show off the new office space and the great guests that stopped by. These photos are great for social media, but also to document the event to look back on for the years to come.
Ohio SIBS
This video shows off how event documentation can help round out all kinds of videos. For this project, Ohio SIBS wanted to create a marketing video, and utilized their in-person events for footage to go along with their interviews. The 2022 Firefighters Gala
The annual Firefighters Gala honors and recognizes those who serve in the Columbus, Ohio fire departments. The event sponsor, CME Federal Credit Union wanted to create a video recapping the event and thanking those who attended, and they also wanted some great photos they could use for social media and marketing.
Berger Cultivate Booth + Happy Hour
Berger reached out wanting photos from the 2022 AmericanHort event, Cultivate. They were interested in showing off photos of their booth on the show floor, employees meeting and talking with visitors, and some of their unique products. They also hosted a happy hour event at a nearby piano bar, and wanted some fun photos and a video of that event as well.
